FREQLT: Beginner Freemotion Quilting
How many of us are terrified to quilt our own quilts? In this class you will learn the ins and outs of freemotion quilting. You will leave feeling confident to quilt on your own domestic sewing machine.
In this workshop you will learn the following:
- Learn about different threads, needles, batting, and notions for quilting
- Learn how to securely start and stop stitching
- Learn how to replicate quilt designs in your brain before applying them on the sewing machine
- Learn to use the walking foot and the freemotion foot
- Learn how to transfer your designs to your fabric.

Quilting Needle 90/14
Sampler panel, batting and backing. Bring to class sandwiched (your choice: pinned, basted or spray adhesive) and ready to go.
Supreme Slider
100% cotton thread. Preferably not black. Load a bobbin before class.
Small scissors.
