Advanced Prep
Because this is only a four hour class, advanced prep is necessary. Please come prepared.

Supplies:
- One Jelly Roll (40+ strips)
- 1.25 yards of 100% cotton batting 96" wide (a twin size prepackaged batting is more than enough)
- Batting seam tape or fusible interfacing
- Size 90/14 - 110/18 Jeans needles
- Spool(s) of cotton thread totaling at least 1200 yards that coordinates/matches jelly roll. Variegated thread works great!
- Walking foot or dual feed foot for your machine.
- Sewing machine (must have at least a 5.5mm zig zag stitch capability)
- Jelly Roll Rug pattern
- All class supplies purchased at Montgomery Quilt Company will receive a 15% off discount
Advanced Prep
Because this is only a four hour class, advanced prep is necessary. Please come prepared.
- Jelly Rolls: Sew all strips of the Jelly Roll together on a 45 degree angle and trim to a quarter inch seam. Press open. You do not need to cut off the selvages. Fan fold the joined strips and secure with a ribbon or fabric scraps.
- Batting: Cut into seventeen 2"-2.25" strips. Fuse the strips together using batting seam tape or fusible interfacing. Fan fold the joined batting strips and secure with ribbon or fabric scraps.
- Thread: Prewind at least 6 bobbins with the thread you are using for your rug.
